History
Scott has been competing in triathlon since 2012 mainly in long distance, his knowledge in the sport from racing coupled with coaching under the British Triathlon Federation (BTF) as a qualified 121 coach is now enabling him to guide others to reach their potential.
Early on coaching for Salisbury Triathlon Club (STC) and currently in a head coach position for the Royal Air Force Triathlon Club (RAF Tri)

I am in a fortune place that I have the trust from others that pick me to coach them.

I fell into this sport and have never looked back.
Days like yesterday when I get to race and Witness not just Pb’s but also the smiles and support my athletes give each other is priceless.

In addition the support we collectively receive from spectators and wider friends gives me joy. (Even if we look like we are hurting)

Not everyone will have the same vision in life but as long as those around you give support, then support them also!! don’t always look in, look out 🙌🏼

Scott was unsure if he should race at all after recently finding out his long term sciatica is a little more serious than first thought (ongoing treatment in the coming months)

However it is allowing him train at this moment and time and this sport is also about travel, seeing the world, making new friends.

But Sport / Exercise has so many Heath benefits so staying as active as possibly within his boundaries are vital to mental well being but also means when full fit it’s less of a struggle in all areas.
•
Congratulations on a 5th in Age Group and 31st overall finish in a climate a bit extreme for us Brits 🇬🇧.
